# Unfela > Unfela reads invoices, receipts and order emails on your Mac, checks every value against the document, files the originals and sends the month to your accountant. Unfela is a Mac app (macOS 26 or later, Apple silicon). It reads PDFs, scanned documents, order e-mails (EML with attachments) and structured e-invoices (Peppol BIS, XRechnung, Factur-X, ZUGFeRD, UBL-TR). Every extracted field is marked Verified, Needs Review or Missing, and a value is Verified only when it is found in the document next to a fitting label and passes its checks (IBAN checksums, tax IDs, totals that add up). Nothing is uploaded: documents are read on the Mac. ## Pricing - Free: $0, 50 new documents a month. - Mac Pro: $39 one time. Unlimited documents, watched folders, automatic rename and filing, Excel export, custom templates. No subscription, no account; the license is checked offline. ## Benchmark (100 sample documents) - Accuracy (Right values, field by field): 97.6% of fields extracted correctly. - Trust (Wrong but marked Verified): 0 fields, in every mode. - Speed (Faster than you can open the file): 16 ms median per document. - Hands-free (Documents you never touch): 74% go straight through, nothing to review. ## FAQ ### Does anything leave my Mac? No. Documents are read on your Mac and stay where they are. Unfela keeps paths, extracted values and your confirmations in a local database. On-device AI, when it runs, is Apple’s. ### Do I need Apple Intelligence? No. Rules and templates read most documents on their own. With Apple Intelligence on, on-device AI helps only when important fields stay unverified, and its proposals are never Verified unless they are found in the document. ### Which countries and languages? Printed invoices and e-mails in English, German and Turkish today, with more languages coming. Structured e-invoices (Peppol, XRechnung, Factur-X, ZUGFeRD, UBL-TR) are read from their data, whatever the language. Dates, amounts and currencies are understood in their local formats, and CSV follows your region’s spreadsheet. ### What does my accountant get? A ZIP with the month’s table, a plain summary with totals per currency, and every original named date_vendor_number, matching the table’s file column. ### What are the system requirements? macOS 26 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon. ## Pages - [Home](https://unfela.com/): what Unfela does, pricing, FAQ - [Blog](https://unfela.com/blog): articles - [When is an extracted invoice value actually verified?](https://unfela.com/blog/when-is-an-extracted-value-verified): In Unfela, a value is Verified only when it is found in the document next to a label that fits and it passes its checks, such as an IBAN checksum or a total that equals subtotal plus tax. Anything less goes to Needs Review with a reason, and a value that isn't in the document stays Missing.
